I’m happy to say that I’ve reopened ChrisTonite. From now on I’ll reopen once a month on Sunday or Monday for dining in my diningroom restaurant. If you have a small group of people (up to 10 people) and you’d like to have me cater a dinner for you and up to 9 of your friends, you can book in advance by getting in touch with me. You’ll still be subject to my availability but I’ll reserve ChrisTonite for you exclusively then.
Last week, old friends wanted to visit Den Haag and have dinner at my place with 2 others. So I set out to create a great 3 course dinner for them. They liked lamb and fish. So I made an Italian minestrone from scratch. Slow cooked lamb shoulder, root celery with chestnuts puree, tomato salad and caramelized onions in red wine. Dessert was a fondant au chocolate with whipped cream and granaat appel.
