Working some more on getting the mailing lists set-up properly. That will allow me so spam everyone I know once with a brief explanation of what I’m gonna do and have them sign up for themselves. That way I can always claim my mailings are not spam, because they signed up for themselves.

However, I’m having some problems pasting the HTML code MailChimp gives me. WordPress.com interprets some HTML comments and breaks the code I insert… still trying to figure out a workaround…
